simple ftp setup [Archive]

erm, i'd like to set up an ftp so i can help a friend back up some data (she has no burner and i'm too lazy to fly back to america).

so, any tips? what app should i use? etc

For something like that I would use G6 FTP. It pretty much sets itself up and anything that you do have to do should be simple enough.

G6/Bulletproof FTP Server should work just fine, or ServU

I'm pretty sure you have to pay for Bulletproof and Serv-u eventually but they have free trials that work for a month or something. Don't know about g6
