What's the big hype? That's not even comparable to Doom 3.

If it has those graphics and a storyline as good as Deus Ex, I won't leave my house for days. If I wanna run around and kill things like I can do in Doom3, I'll go play Quake 2. But a good game story plot AND good game graphics makes me sp00ge.

Because every game that comes out now will have to suck unless the graphics are uber.

Quake1's graphics were heads and tails above Chronotrigger's yet chronotrigger was a much more enjoyable game for me.

hmm. I think the graphics look good. Not quite doom3 but I wouldn't say "they're not comparable." It *looks* like there's some bump mapping, the shadows look okay and characters cast self-shadows. Seems alright to me. Probably won't cost an arm and a leg to get hardware to run it nicely either.

For the bump mapping, I'm referring to the bottom left screenshot.

It's not trying to be comparable to doom III. It's using completely different technology.
