Would anyone know of any sites that would have a multitude of estimates of software packages for companies. I am working on a project and I cannot find anything at all. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it greatly.

I'll do it for two dollah!
I think that if you have custom software written for you, they do a consultation and then they give you a price.

Couldn't really find a site that offered it all in one place. My guess is to go to UPS and see how much their printer is. We have one at work, and it prints out the UPS labels for us. If you're looking for software for a freight house, most of it is in-house or custom programmed. Very few companies offer a standards inventory/billing/shipping software for freight companies (or for most other companies) because the demands on the software varies with each company.

However, my company uses it and it's a complete nightmare because our company doesn't have any clue as to how powerful it CAN be. So if it gets used like it shouldn't be it will become a real pain in the ass.
