our email here is an extension of the corp office and corp has the NT email service account, so we cannot really do much, soooo.
id like to get my hands on that password.....

what tool can i use to get that account password.
its just a user account on the domain.

i tried the Brutus one that Ninja posted but i cant get it to work right.

do you have a domain admin account? can't you change the password with that.

if i change it, then corp will know, and our email wont work cause they have the same accoutn on there server, its used to cross the exchange servers,
i just want to get the password so WE can do somethings that we need to

why not contact a guy at corporate about it? i dunno how to go about cracking the nt password.

yeah right, they wont give it to me, we already asked a few times.

they think they own us but they dont, bastards.

someone has to know, i worked with some at an intership once that did it, they forgot an admin password and need to crack it.

Use l0pht crack. You need to be an admin somewhere on the domain to install it. I suggest putting it on one of the shiny new P4's and let it chug away.

Yeah, brutus is just for trying to force http/ftp/etc. (something remote).
