Doesn't the divx bundle just give you a player and you need a seperate app to rip the dvd?

If anyone could help me out that'd be great :D

Gnot is good, but i could never get a rip to work cause it kept saying i didnt have the right compressor to view the video, and yet im the one who encoded it, i was lik WTF but gave up.
i use DVD Decrypter to rip the VOB files and then use Flask Mpeg to make the avi.
flask only lets you go up to 56kbps for mp3 but personally i dont make rips for the audio i make them for the video. so i dont care, you can still hear it fine.
plus a lower mp3 rate = more room for better video. cauase the mp3 the higher rate it is, the more room it takes up, so if yourtaking up 150 mb for audio then your only leaving 550 for vid.
