Does NAV Corporate 8 have something on the server that allows you to see all the computers that are getting ant-virus updates for it? I have the server piece installed on my server and a client on my PC, but for the life of me, I can't find the administration piece. I can tell my PC to get updates from my server, but I can't view my PC on my server.

you can see the other pc there, but i dont think you can see if it actually is grabbing the updates. i think you can check the update level on it though. when i had it all the way setup here thats pretty much the way it worked.

i mean once i set it up so that the clients grabbed the defs from the server they were always updated anytime that i would check.

yes you can see it and shit.
you have to install the Symantec Server plugin thingy i cant remember what its called.
oh its the Symantec System Center console plugin.

when you install the clients you have to select MANAGED client. and it asks for the name of the server.
if you did that.
then install the console thing on the SERVER and when you open it up, youll see a list of your server and its a TREE drop it down and there will be allthe PCs that have the client installed.

you can right click on clients and shit from there to and do stuff and view things.
