I ran through the Scarlet Monastery (solo) left most and right most branches last night. Took me around 1.5 hours.
I made (after expenses, i.e. food and drink) 20 gold. I have a bunch of stuff in the AH still, so it may even be more.
I am planning on hitting the middle branches tonight.

Right now I'm farming the satyrs in Azshara for felcloth and other stuff, and the stone elementals in Silithus for Essence of Earth.

I usually don't see a whole lot of people up there, if there are any they're usually killing furbolgs, or they take down a satyr or two as they run through the camp. I've had competitors a few times, they're usually not very persistent though, so they're probably not getting paid for it.

If I run through all of the Aszhara satyrs, I usually get two, maybe three, pieces of felcloth.

I haven't gotten the rank 1 trinket yet. I have to do the quest.

I haven't been playing that much lately, and I'm selling felcloth in stacks of 6 or 7 at a time.

I sell them in stacks of 3 for 6G a stack .. there's alot of competion and alot of chinese gold farmers on Cenarius.. we've been know to run them off from the Satyr camps.. been know to come up at least 100G every couple of days farming there for a few hours a day.. sometimes more they drop epics too .. I've got 3 epics drops from them Shadowblade , Freezing Band , and Hammer of the northern wind.. Actually I've got the shadowBlade twice.. the second time I couldn't pick it up :( They also drop occasional blues and recipes like elixir of the mongoose and Agility +5 to gloves.. and a few leatherworking recipes Plus the gold from the greys and vendor trash greens will get you +20g for a few hours work... I love that place it's made me 1000's of gold

Duh.
I was mixing up felwood and azhara.
Which camps are the productive ones in azhara? Legash or Haldarr?
I do have to admit it's fun running through SM though. My gold total for the run is up to 30g. That's if none of the remaining stuff in AH sells and I have to go vendor.
I still don't think that's bad for around 1.5 hours.
That's great for a SM run.
The productive camps are the Legashi

Just had a fairly productive night in Azshara. Didn't get much of anything but vendor trash for the first half hour or so, then in the next hour and a half I got:
Vorpal Dagger of Nature's Wrath
+17 Nature Spell Damage
Felcloth x6
Cow King's Hide
Two of Warlords
not to mention three stacks of Runecloth for the reputation bonus and about 8g in cash.

I had a few morning off this week and no instance groups were running so early (6AM-10AM) so I decided to try out Tyr's Hand ... only one farmer was there so I spent two hours
No blues or epics, but between vendor trash and gold, I was easily pulling in 15g/per ... then the greens I sold on the AH went for another 10 or so ...
Once the farmers started their shifts, it was impossible to farm there because they would gank you unmercifily. The alliance rogues would two shot my warrior from stealth (cold blood ambush plus 1 or 2 heavy strikes (though they would usually wait until I was at 30% health or so before attacking) ... and the horde farmers would training 3 or more mobs and vanish next to me ... didn't always agro on me, but works well enough
