I always thought they were lame and cheesy, but I have taken one to lvl 18 in 4 days and I am LOVING it

I know I will not get into a lot of groups down the road, but if history repeats itself, I will probably get bored in the late 40s anyway, so who cares

Anyway, so far it is the most fun I have had playing this game. Having a pet has been fun and adds a whole new element to the game (to this point I have played a priest to 60, a rogue to 55, a warrior to 48 and a druid to 32)

Anyway, I know there are some great hunter sites out there ... does anyone know any off the top of their head? I'm thinking of going a PvP spec for once (got a fast cat that I am working on and probably going Beast Mastery/Marksmenship) and would love some advise

I find the class boards on the official site to be sufficient for most classes.

How do you like your druid? I love mine. More fun than my 60 mage or 48 warlock were. I have a 60 rogue too but I still love him to pieces, it's just that I'm on a different server now.

The druid is fine for people with a large attention span ... which I don't have.

It is way too much micromanagement and I didn't find it fun after awhile, but there are times when I love the versitility

The reason I stopped playing him is the reason I don't play my priest much ... in teams, I am nothing more than a heal-bot whose job it is to stare at health bars for two hours *yawn* ... the higher level you get, the worse it is

Solo it was ok, groups were boring

Decided to ditch my tiger at level 18 and tame The Rake (a named Lion from Mulgore)

The attack speed is faster and apparently he is faster than most pets so he can run things down better than most ... I personally can't tell the difference, but I only have him leveled to 14 (I am 19) and his loyalty level is only 3 ... I think stats get a lot better once loyalty and level rise, but who knows

Do yourself a favour, figure out what pet you want in the end now, because you do not want to be a level 60 and figure out hey you wanted humar the black lion, or possibly the white lion from the horde quest. The wolf in lbrs has furious howl 4 which adds 40-70 damage to yours and near by members physical next attack, things like that. Bears are definitely awesome tanks, I've never had a turtle but their ability sounds great, and boars charging I haven't seen yet ;(

Gotta agree with ya, hunters aren't the greatest but so rarely is it you find someone who even knows how to make use of their skills. And yah, druids suck ;D

I have the white lion from the horde quest, but his attack rate of 2.0 kind of rubs me the wrong way ... The Rake has a speed of 1.2 and is fast (just looks like every other lion though :( )

I plan to level a bear, but from what I understan, Blizz still hasn't given them a special power yet, so people frown on them.

I plan to tame one of the elite turtles on that hidden beach in Tenaris ... apparently they come almost completely upgraded with higher tier talents ...

Yah! fucking white lion is cool looking but probably one of the worst in terms of attack speed, deathmaw however is 1.2 attack speed but fucking rare ass spawn.

bears are fucking great tanks ;\

I've yet to get a turtle but haven't bothered, I love my warlock too damn much ;(

What pisses me off probably the most is the fact that you cannot freeze trap dragonkin anymore so my cc capability in ubrs runs is zip vs. them

Broken Tooth in the Badlands has a 1.0 attack speed as does a bat from ZG ...

As soon as I hot the mid to late 30s, I am going after Broken Tooth ... It may take an hour or so to find him (if no one has killed him - 5 hour respawn timer I think), but he seems to be the best of the bunch

never heard of barnabus but he can't be very good :\
broken tooth is worth getting, 1.0 attack speed fucks casters up great, it's the thing that lets you fuck up casters that are even fully geared
